Cari started in the travel business in 2007 with a dream and persistence. She has worked with clients with a focus on each trip encompassing the goals of the client for a transformational travel experience. Her personal experience as a mental health support for someone close to her, defined her passion around wellness travel for those living with and supporting those with mental health challenges.
In today's world, we all know someone that is either struggling with or supporting someone with a mental health condition. Cari believes strongly that we all need respite and need to really consider what we need from our travel experiences to live a full and healthy life. Travel plays an important role in a person's mental health and working with someone who understands, listens without judgement, and works collaboratively with the client can make all the difference in the experience.
She believes strongly in professional development and is a Verified Travel Advisor through the American Society of Travel Advisors. She is also a Certified Mental Health First Aid Instructor and Certified to teach QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer), which is a suicide prevention program. She also has a number of certifications through the travel industry. For a complete list, visit the Professionalism page on this website.
